  1. Law books are sold in the Union Building Bookstore, 620 N. Union Drive. The bookstore takes cash, VISA, and MasterCard. The phone number is (317) 274-7167. Bookstore hours for fall and spring semesters are as follows:

    8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
    8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Friday & Saturday
    Closed Sunday

    (The Bookstore has extended hours during the first week of classes.)

  3. A child care service is available on the IUPUI campus at 321 Limestone Street. The service is heavily used and generally has a waiting list, so if you are interested in this service, please contact the Center for Young Children to put your name on the waiting list: (317) 274-3508.

  4. The Counseling Center of IUPUI is located in room 418 of the Union Building, 620 N. Union Drive. Counselors are available on a regular basis. To schedule an appointment for individual or group counseling, call (317) 274-2548 or visit the office in person.

  5. Graduate students may join the Indiana Federal Credit Union. The on-campus office is located in the Union Building on the first floor next to the book store. The Credit Union offers no-service-charge checking, a 24-hour bank machine, online banking, debit cards, and other benefits including 8 starter checks with account numbers already pre-printed on them for new members.   6. The IUPUI Financial Aid office is in Cavanaugh Hall, room 147. Law students may meet with Jennifer Vines, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, when she is in the Financial Aid office in Cavanaugh Hall or during her weekly appointment hours at the law school. Ms. Vines’ schedule is posted in the Student Services foyer, where students may also sign up for an appointment in Inlow Hall. Ms. Vines’ telephone number is (317) 278-2862, and her e-mail address is gradaid@iupui.edu. General questions may also be directed to the Financial Aid office main number, 274-4162.

  7. Medical care is available in the IUPUI Student Health Center. Students may seek care at the health center regardless of whether they are enrolled in the University Health Insurance program. There is a fee to be seen for any medical purpose.

  10. A brochure setting forth the parking rules and regulations in effect at IUPUI will be sent with the student's parking permit or can be obtained from the Parking Services office. Parking Services is located at 1004 W. Vermont Street, at the corner of Barnhill and Vermont Streets, on the first level of the South Garage. Visitors to Parking Services enter the garage at the second entrance by taking a ticket from the machine at the gate and then proceed to the designated guest parking spaces which are available on the first level of the garage near the office. Visitors may present the entry ticket to Parking Services personnel to have it validated so that there will be no charge when leaving the garage. Questions may be directed to Parking Services at 274-4232.
