Commencement 2008
The law school specific commencement exercise will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 3pm in the Sagamore Ballroom (of the Indianapolis Convention Center). This is a departure from the law school's long standing tradition of having the ceremony on Sunday, Mother's Day. While you are encouraged to attend the all school ceremony, our ceremony on Saturday in the Convention Center is where you will be hooded by your law professors. Please arrive no later than 2:15 on Saturday to check in. Your loved ones and friends will not need tickets in order to share this occasion with you. Seating is not assigned. Email Dean Espada (amespada@iupui.edu) if you will have a guest in a wheel chair. There will be an area where they will be able to view the ceremony and have the room that they require. Note: if there is any possibility that your name could be mispronounced, please either send an email to amespada@iupui.edu with the pronunciation phonetically written out or call Dean Espada at 274-1907 (after 6pm at 274 2378) and pronounce your name three times.
