S.J.D. Tuition and Fees
2011-2012 tuition rate for the S.J.D. program is $1,333.30 per credit hour. In addition to tuition fees, S.J.D. students will be responsible for all of the mandatory applicable university fees.
S.J.D. students register for 8 credits of "S.J.D. Research" during both the first and second semesters in residence at the law school following admission and will be charged the corresponding tuition rate at the time of registration.
S.J.D. students register for the final 8 credits of "S.J.D. Dissertation" during the semester in which the completed dissertation is submitted to the candidate's Dissertation Committee (the completed dissertation must be completed and submitted within five calendar years of admission to the S.J.D. program) and will be charged the corresponding tuition rate at the time of registration.
For each semester between the initial residency requirement and the final semester, all S.J.D. students will be enrolled in “Dissertation Advanced Research,” a non-credit bearing course. No tuition shall be charged, but the course carries a nominal administrative fee of $100.00 per semester (subject to change).
