Bio

While in law school Professor Wilson served as managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal. He received a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst Grant in 1981 and studied at the University of Bonn. Following graduation from law school, Professor Wilson served as a law clerk to the Honorable William I. Garrard, Indiana Court of Appeals, and to the Honorable William E. Steckler, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Professor Wilson has served as an adjunct professor of business law at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University - Bloomington and as an adjunct professor of English at Franklin College. Professor Wilson regularly teaches in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2000, 2002, and 2005 he taught business and commercial law courses to Hungarian M.B.A. students at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2003, he directed a summer program with Andrei Saguna Faculty of Law at Constanta, Romania. In 2004, Professor Wilson taught in the Law, Ethics, & Business module in the MBA program at the International Graduate Business School in Zagreb, Croatia.

Professor Wilson's research focuses on predatory lending, particularly the role of mortgage brokers. Professor Wilson is a founding member of Research for Neighborhood Action. RNA is a network of academics, attorneys, community organizers, and citizens who work collaboratively to develop strategies to address problems facing our neighborhoods, especially predatory lending and rental housing conditions.
