Bio

Mary Harter Mitchell attended the Cornell Law School, where she served as an editor on the Cornell Law Review, worked in the legal aid clinic, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. A lecturer at the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington for two years, she joined the faculty in 1980.

She has written a book on legal issues of special concern to older citizens in Indiana. Her research interests include law and religion and prisoners' rights.
