- Law School IT Help Workshop Schedule ~ Group workshops conducted to help you prepare your laptop for use at the Law School.
- First Assignments (DOC) ~ Updated 8/19/09 (please check back for future updates)
- 1L Research Project! ~ Participate in a research study examining the relationships among personal attitudes, academic performance, and psychological well-being in first-year law students! This is your chance to learn more about yourself and take part in a national study aimed at improving legal education. No big time commitment. In addition, you can win a $50 gift card to the university bookstore. Professor Martin will provide more details during orientation.
- Reading List: The faculty has also made a Recoomended Reading List for all law school students. This list is always available and can be referred to at any time during your law school career.

Transfer and Visiting Student Orientation Schedule
- Transfer and Visiting students are welcome to attend all orientation sessions on the Day Division schedule.
- Any session indicated by an asterisk (*) on the full schedule is a required session for Transfer and Visiting students.
- All other sessions are optional but highly encouraged for Transfer and Visiting students.

- Please make sure you have read "Preparing for Your First Class" before orientation!
- Evening division students should read the Case Brief Handout and Lefkowitz v. Great Minneapolis Surplus Store in preparation for Prof. McGregor’s session.
