The Program on Law
and State Government sponsors this one-week course which includes instruction on
substantive aspects of public policy mediation in the state government setting,
and the opportunity to participate in the mediation process with an experienced
mediator. The course is of particular interest to practicing attorneys,
municipal and state lawyers, judges and professionals in all public policy
fields.
Forty-hour civil mediation training certification There is a
fee to attend this course.

In 2010, Congress passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Since then, there's been a lot of discussion on what this law means for health
care providers and other professionals who work with patients. Network with your
fellow alumni and hear from two IU School of Medicine and IU School of Law
faculty as they explore this law in depth and answer questions.
This program will count as 1.5 hours of Indiana CLE credit (pending
approval). A certificate of attendance will be available for Illinois-licensed
attorneys to submit to MCLE. Medical education credits will be available,
pending approval.
Cost: $10.00 for IUAA members; $15 for non member. The evening includes hors
d'oeuvres and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available. See web site for more details.
