The Legal Writing Institute is proud to announce that the 14th Biennial Conference will take place at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort from June 27 to 30, 2010 (pictured above). The 2010 Conference will continue the LWI's tradition of providing a collegial, collaborative environment for the sharing of ideas. Colleagues will have a chance to meet, reconnect, and discuss ideas about pedagogy, scholarship, and professional growth. In addition, the LWI is also reaching out to practicing lawyers, hoping to facilitate bridges between the teachers of good writing and the practitioners of good writing.

What's Standard: Presentations on legal writing scholarship and pedagogy. A track designed for newer professors and the annual critiquing workshop, poster sessions, informal evening discussion roundtables.
What’s New: A one-day registration and a special "practitioner track" designed to focus on topics of special interest to practicing lawyers; pre-conference golf and tennis tournaments.
