Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law

Scholarships and Loans

To demonstrate our law school's commitment to this Program, and to make the Program more accessible for qualified students, our law school will provide scholarship assistance to students with demonstrated financial need and outstanding academic or professional credentials. Detailed information on applying for scholarship assistance is included in the Application for Admission which can be downloaded from the Applications page of this website.

We also encourage students to seek out scholarship and grant opportunities through their governments, their employers, the U.S. government, and private foundations in the U.S. and abroad. Some suggestions are to research scholarships through the Fulbright Program, the Edmund S. Muskie / Freedom Support Act Graduate Fellowship Program, Ford Foundation, and Open Society Institute.

Loans through the University and private lenders are available to U.S. residents who meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants for loans must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, as well as a loan application available through the University's Office of Student Financial Aid Services. Inquiries about loan assistance should be directed to the University Office of Student Financial Aid Services, Cavanaugh Hall 103, 425 University Boulevard, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202-5145.
