The cost of a homestay is approximately $530 per session (4 weeks), per student, and includes a private furnished bedroom, use of public areas of the house, laundry facilities, breakfast and dinner. Consultants, Inc. website or contact Lauren Basile at lbasileofihc@hotmail.com.
Off-Campus Housing
Indianapolis offers many options at all price ranges for off-campus living in rented apartments throughout the city. You can live very affordably by sharing the rent for a two- or three-bedroom apartment with other students.
The School of Law can not provide assistance with securing off-campus housing. However, the Office of International Affairs provides guidance to international students seeking appropriate off-campus housing. Students frequently post "looking for roommate" advertisements on the Bulletin Board outside the Office of International Affairs. You also can look for persons seeking roommates or advertise for your own roommates by sending an e-mail inquiry to intlaff@iupui.edu. Caution: Please be aware that when your name is on the apartment lease, you can be held fully responsible for the rent if your roommate does not pay his/her full share.
For more information regarding
off-campus housing, please review the off-campus
housing information provided by the Office of International
Affairs.
Temporary Housing **VERY IMPORTANT**
If you have not made housing arrangements before arriving in Indianapolis, it will be necessary for you to stay in a hotel off-campus until you make final arrangements. There are no temporary housing options on-campus. Plan to pay from $50 to $100 each night you require temporary housing. For a listing of convenient and affordable temporary housing options, please review the temporary housing information provided by the Office of International Affairs.
You may also email the Office of International Affairs at intlaff@iupui.edu for assistance.
