The law school is located on the combined campus of Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI), which has a population of more than 28,000 students. It combines the strengths of the State of Indiana's two largest research universities and is home not only to the I.U. School of Law-Indianapolis, but to other Indiana University (I.U.) professional schools: Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. The I.U. Medical Center with its teaching hospitals and other research facilities are also here. Other I.U. schools located on the IUPUI campus include the Kelley School of Business, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and the School of Journalism.

Currently, over 1000 international students have chosen IUPUI as their home-away-from home for higher education. In addition to activities within their academic disciplines, international students can find learning opportunities, social activities and supportive assistance through the IUPUI Office of International Affairs. Recently constructed campus housing and nearby off-campus apartments offer ample housing options.

The IUPUI campus is adjacent to downtown Indianapolis, as well as the Indiana State Museum, the Indianapolis Zoo, the White River Botanical Gardens, and the Canal Walk. The Indianapolis RCA Tennis Center, the National Institute for Fitness and Sport, the I.U. Natatorium and other sport facilities are located on the campus. The Indiana Statehouse, Federal and State courts and many major law firms are easily accessible from the law school.
