- Beijing, China
- Hosted by Renmin University of China School of Law
- Study the legal aspects of China’s evolving market economy, legal regime, lawyering system and the development of the rule of law in China
- Sightseeing to the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square
Central and Eastern European Law Summer Program
- June 28-August 2, 2008 (6 credits)
- Dubrovnik, Croatia
- In collaboration with the University of Zagreb School of Law
- Courses address the transition of legal systems in Central and Eastern Europe
- Based in Dubrovnik, Croatia, a beautiful seaside resort on the Mediterranean Sea
- May 17-June 14 (5 credits) or May 17-June 21 (6 credits)
- Strasbourg, France
- Based at Robert Schuman University
- Students will visit the European Court of Human Rights, the European Parliament, the Council and Commission of the European Union, and the European Court of Justice
- Includes field trips to Luxembourg, Brussels, and London, as well as optional trips to Amsterdam, Freiburg, Heidelberg, Basel, and other nearby places
Latin American Law Summer Program

- May 15-June 13, 2008 (6 credits)
- Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil
- In collaboration with the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP)
- Courses introduce students to the laws of Latin American free trade areas and arrangements, human rights law, as well as to the civil law legal systems of Latin America
- Classes will be taught at the University of Montevideo in Uraguay and the Getulio Vargas Foundation in both Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
