The universe of the law is vast. At our law school we help students see the big picture, emphasizing the skills that will help them chart their way as they begin to focus on a specialty and find their place in the sun. A lawyer must possess highly refined analytical skills, the ability to communicate well, and a sensitivity to ethical responsibilities. We're intent on educating keen problem solvers, effective mediators, and persuasive advocates. Toward these goals, our faculty has developed a curriculum rich in theory and technique, simultaneously responsive to societal and legal change and upholding the best traditions of generations of legal thinkers. The core curriculum equips students with a thorough understanding of the law in preparation for a career at the bar as well as other legal pursuits. These legal fundamentals are complemented by a wide array of in-depth, innovative seminars and special courses, as well as clinical and internship programs. |
