Trial Advocacy Competition
About this Competition
In the spring semester, a Trial Advocacy Competition course is open to eight students selected by audition during the fall semester. Members of the course represent the law school at regional and national rounds of the National Trial Competition sponsored by the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Requirements and Credit
- Evidence and Trial Practice are course prerequisites.
- Course participation requires a minimum of 60 hours of activity, including trial preparation and participation.
- 1 credit hour, graded.
