The On-Campus Interview Program
The Office of Professional Development invites prospective employers to visit the School of Law sometime during an eight-week period in the fall semester to conduct interviews with students. Our program is designed to make the interview process as enjoyable and rewarding as possible for interviewers and interviewees. We post notices of your visit, collect the students' resumes and make them available to you, provide private interview rooms in which to conduct the interviews, and coordinate the interview schedule. Interviewing on campus allows you to maximize your contact with the candidates who fit your qualifications while keeping your expenditure of time and resources to a minimum. It also gives us an opportunity to meet you and discuss with you the ways that we can make recruiting more efficient and successful for you. If your firm desires to conduct interviews during the spring semester, we can make arrangements to do that as well.
Students are familiar with the on-campus interview program and eagerly participate in it. By participating in the interviews within the familiar surroundings of the School of Law, students are much more likely to be at ease in the interview. Consequently, the interviews are more likely to go smoothly and their value to both you and the candidates will increase.
