Overflow Hotel
Due to a greater response to this conference than we anticipated, the host hotel (the Marriott) is sold out. We have therefore reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, which is about half a mile to the south of the Marriott. It is an easy walk on a sidewalk with no intervening streets to cross.
The rate we negotiated with the Hilton is $149 per night, so long as reservations are made by June 4 (extended from May 27). Please note that this is a non-refundable rate, and that you will be required to pay for your entire stay at the time you make your reservation. The conference rate will be available only until June 4 or until the Hilton is sold out.
You can book rooms at the Hilton either by telephone (1-800-HILTONS or 239-394-5000), or online at www.hilton.com. In either case, please refer to the group code “LWI” in order to get the conference rate.

LWI has reserved a block of rooms at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort. The rate for the conference is $159 (exclusive of applicable taxes). This rate is available three days prior and three days after your conference dates based upon availability. So if you want to combine your conference with some vacation time, and if rooms are available, you can book rooms at the group rate anytime from June 24 through July 3. Currently there are rooms available for all of those nights but this is, of course, subject to change.
