In order to be good advocates, students must understand and be able to use persuasive tactics both effectively and ethically. Reading about persuasion, however, is not nearly as helpful as seeing and feeling what actually persuades a given audience. This presentation will explore some of the techniques I have used in bringing persuasive techniques alive in the classroom.
