Engaging, Entertaining, and Effective: Using Handheld Response Pads in the Legal Methods Classroom

This presentation focuses on the use of an interactive teaching technology that uses handheld response pads, or “clickers,” to permit the students to anonymously participate in the classroom discussion. We will demonstrate various interesting and fun ways in which this technology can be used in a legal writing classroom to get students engaged in the learning process. During the presentation, each audience member will receive a clicker so that he or she can interactively participate in the demonstrations.
