Presenter Technology Requirements
If you are presenting at the Conference, please send a list of any technology requirements for your presentation by Monday, June 2. Please send your list to Jim Dimitri at jddimitr@iupui.edu. In the subject line of the e-mail, please include the phrase, “LWI Tech Needs.”
Laptop computers required for presentations will be provided for you. Therefore, if you plan to use the Internet or any software such as PowerPoint, Word, WordPerfect, or Excel, please notify Jim that you plan on doing this so a laptop may be reserved for you. In addition, please bring your electronic materials (e.g., your PowerPoint presentation) to the conference on a USB flash drive or a CD. We will load your materials on to the laptop immediately before your presentation.
Other technology devices available for use are:
- document cameras
- VCR players
- DVD players
- CD players, and
- remote clickers for PowerPoint presentations.
Presenter Handouts
Those of you who plan on giving handouts along with your presentation should plan to provide 100 copies. You may bring your handouts with you on your trip, mail them ahead of time, or make copies after you arrive here in Indianapolis.
If you wish to mail your handouts ahead of the conference, please send them to the following address:
Janice White
Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis
530 W. New York Street
Indianapolis, IN 46202-3225
Att’n: LWI Conference Site Committee
On the package in which you mail your handouts, please indicate two things: (1) the date of your presentation, and (2) whether your presentation will take place in the morning or the afternoon.
If you’re going to mail your handouts, please place them in the mail by Tuesday, July 1. All handouts mailed ahead of the conference will be placed in one location at the conference. Once you arrive at the conference, you’ll be told where you may pick up your handouts.
If you’d like to make copies of your handouts after arriving in Indianapolis, there is a Kinko’s on Monument Circle, just a few blocks away from the Hyatt. More information about this store may be found here.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Jim Dimitri at jddimitr@iupui.edu.
